Abbas, a Basiji who has the remains of a mortar shell next to his jugular vein from his time on the front, comes to Tehran for an examination at the urging of his wife, Narges, and encounters his friend Kazem on the street, traveling in his car. The doctor diagnoses Abbas as critical and recommends that he go to London as soon as possible to remove the debris. Kazem agrees to sell his car to pay for Abbas's trip. At the airline, the buyer of the car does not deliver the money to Kazem on time, and he inevitably offers the head of the agency to pledge the arrival of the money, the switch and the car documents, but the head of the agency does not accept. Enraged, Kazem smashes the glass of the IAEA office and, after a police officer takes up arms, holds the IAEA clients hostage so that the authorities can arrange for him and Abbas to travel to London immediately.
